Salt House is a luxury private hire event venue, we are here for you and your guests only, so your meeting won’t be interrupted and your party won’t be gate crashed.
Capacity
Salt House a spacious manor, but we do have some restrictions… You can have a maximum sit down capacity of 80 and a standing capacity of 120.
Parking
As a discreet rural location we know your guests will have to travel, so we have a spacious 55 space car park.
Event Management
Our dedicated Events team will help you with organising all the key details of your event and make sure things are running smoothly on the day. We can even help you manage guest lists arrival on the day.

Yes, we can host that typical 9-5 meeting, but why not dream big and reach for the stars…? We are licensed to be open till 2 am, so you can work hard into the night or party under the stars.

Salt House is an exclusive multi space private venue, so you can run and spread your event in a way that suits you best.
Our former Library can be used for larger gatherings, dining or band space and dancing. The Snug as a quiet break out meeting space or somewhere to take off your shoes and rest your dancing feet.
No matter the activity, we are sure that we can meet your needs.

At Salt House, we don’t believe in copy-paste events. Whether you’re dreaming of disco balls in the dining room or blooms on every surface, we’re here for it. Loud, laid-back or totally luxe — the vibe is yours to set. Just know: whatever you choose, it’ll look damn good.
The House already oozes style and grandeur, but we have made sure that you have creative freedom to decorate the all important spaces.
Pebbles, Bookends and Yew and Me rooms are stylish yet neutral, giving you peace of mind that those gorgeous decor pieces won’t clash with a bad carpet or horrible curtains. All the social spaces are already a vibe!

We don’t believe in boring bedrooms. At Salt House, we have nine luxury suites, each with its own distinct personality — moody, light, bold, soft — all effortlessly stylish and deeply comfortable.
From freestanding baths in bay windows to art-filled walls and cloud-soft bedding, these rooms are designed to be experienced... and photographed. These are Interiors you’ll want to steal for your own home.

Our entire ground floor is one seamless threshold free level, with a gentle ramp leading right up to the front door for easy access. Our Kids Play room is a sanctuary for little ones & their parents away from the noise.
Plus, we offer a dedicated accessible bedroom so no guest misses out on a night of luxury with a float from ground floor to first.

Nope — we don’t do minimum spends. Our hire fee is exactly that: your hire fee. After that, it’s completely up to you how your event flows. Whether you go big or keep it low-key, the space is yours to style your way.
Yes — we accept both cash and all major credit or debit cards, so you and your guests can pay however suits best.
We don’t offer room tabs, but a bar tab or event tab can absolutely be arranged by the party host. Just chat to our team ahead of time and we’ll get it sorted.

Yes to candles — as long as they’re in enclosed holders for safety. Confetti is welcome outdoors, but it must be real petals or biodegradable (we’re all about protecting our gardens). Fireworks, sadly, aren’t permitted — but hand-held sparklers are absolutely allowed and make for a pretty dreamy photo moment.

Our private hire calendar opens 9 months in advance. You're welcome to reach out anytime to check availability. We can plan further ahead if needed — just note that early bookings may come with a premium.
Secretly, we’re all big kids at heart. Family is the heart and soul of Salt House, and we absolutely welcome the little ones. They’ve got their own playroom to build dens, throw mini parties, and maybe even make a few adults a little jealous. Because here, everyone gets to have fun.
